Hi,

I have build 2 pairs of couplets now, i've just build the refference design. I would like to have some more theoreticle understanding of speaker design. building a crossover network, caculating BR channel and so on. Are there any englisch (german if there isn''t an englisch version) books about stuff like this?!

A good starting point would be the Loudspeaker Design Cookbook by Vance Dickason, available at amazon.co.uk (hopefully this is responsible for the NL). This should be a good starting point to get a closer look about speaker design and anything behind.

The "Loudspeaker Technology Handbook" (Handbuch der Lautsprechertechnik) by Friedemann Hausdorf is always a good choice to get some basic theory and learn about practical problems.

You can find it in the "Literature" section of the Visaton home page!

A while ago, Friedemann told us that he's currently working on an english version of this book.... don't know if already he finished it (?)
