Reverberation

Reverberation is sound which remains audible in the room even after the signal that produced it has stopped. This reverberation influences the acoustic qualities of the room. The period of reverberation is used as a unit of measure. This is defined as the time it takes for the sound to fall by 60 dB after the signal is switched off.
