Subwoofer satellite systems

In subwoofer satellite systems, it is common to combine two small mid-to-high-range loudspeakers (satellites) with one single mono bass speaker (woofer). Systems like this can usually be positioned easily in any room and often produce remarkably good results. The satellite must be able to produce frequencies above 80-150 Hz. It is necessary to implement a separating frequency in this range so that the subwoofer is not located.
