VISATON can look back over a heritage of more than 50 years' experience and is one of Germany's leading specialist manufacturers in the loudspeaker sector

Right back at the time our company was founded in 1968, our highly accurate, specially manufactured loudspeakers were in great demand. Thanks to our broad product range and our capability to develop precise special solutions, we are now renowned as a successful partner worldwide. Every day we work to improve acoustics in a wide range of areas – whether in industry, on ships, in public transport, in museums, in motor homes or in your sitting room.

Best laboratory conditions

In our metrology lab, our engineers use state-of-the-art measuring technology. By means of the Klippel measuring system, they can guarantee state-of-the-art production control and consistently high product quality.

Unique measuring room

Our anechoic room, 7 x 7 x 7 metres (clear internal dimensions), is one of the largest measuring rooms in the international loudspeaker industry. It is lined with 1.05 metre long non-reflective wedges and provides the best test conditions. Due to the size of the room, measurements can be taken at the usual listening distance of three to four metres.

IP protection

Due to the ever-increasing demand for waterproof loudspeakers, we are in a position to check IP protection classes in-house. With our test station, we are able to check a range of IP protection classes under the conditions prescribed in the standards without having to rely on external test laboratories.

Climatic chamber

For extreme temperature tests, we use a special climate chamber in which loudspeakers have to withstand a temperature range of -70 °C to +180 °C.
