Details

17 cm (6.5") ceiling speaker with aesthetically appealing grille, suitable for the installation in suspended ceilings of any material. Easy mounting due to solid spring arms into round ceiling cut-out through which the one-piece speaker can be installed safe against ball throwing. A push terminal block allows quick and easy connection to the 100-V-network.

FD 18 LF

Protection cover made of steel sheet for DL 18/1 and DL 18/2. The enlarged volume betters the sound of inserted speakers compared with FD 18 F. The FD 18 LF is equipped with an integrated fail-safe mechanism which ensures that a burnout in one loudspeaker does not lead to a failure in the entire system of connected speakers. The upper side of the protection cover is equipped with ceramic terminals. Cable clamps ensure the incoming cables of 8, 12 or 16mm diameter are firmly held. A second terminal enables the wiring to be looped through to the next speaker. At the upper side the protection cover is equipped with a thermal fuse and a heat-resistant high-temperature wiring so that it conforms to both Dutch (NEN 2575) and British (BS 5839) regulations for alarm systems. Unsuitable for fire protection ceilings (F30). Fire protection housing systems (FlamoX) are available from KAISER, 58579 Schalksmühle, Germany. The enlarged volume betters the sound of inserted speakers.

BS 130 - 4 Ohm

Structure-borne sound converter for bass frequencies. The units are attached to a surface which is able to resonate, which causes it to oscillate (e.g. a panel of a car body, the base construction of a settee etc.). No enclosed cabinet is required. Using the BS 130 - 4 Ohm, this enables the lowest bass frequencies, such as those used for effects in films, to be reproduced in such a way that they are felt through the body rather than heard.

Cabinet speaker, equipped with one 8.7 cm full-range loudspeaker. Black plastic housing. Remove the grille and loudspeaker to fit. The housing can then be fitted to a flat surface directly, without a holder. To this end, there are two screw holes in the base.
