Rated impedance

Shows the relation between complex resistance and frequency. You can read off what complex resistance occurs at which frequency. Loudspeakers are broken down into nominal impedance categories depending on their impedance curve. These are usually 4 ohms and 8 ohms. The lowest impedance Z, measured in ohms, must not be less than 80% of nominal impedance.
