AMP 2.1-PM

Art. No. 7104

Class-D 2.1 loudspeaker power-amplifier
module as a sub-assembly for the installation inside
of enclosed electronic assemblies. Combined with
two full-range loudspeakers and one subwoofer
it is able to work as a sub/sat-system. The loud–
speaker connections as well as the connection
for the power supply are realized with screwable
terminal block connectors. A stereo audio signal
can be injected via a 3.5 mm jack socket. The
volume of the subwoofer output can be adjusted
with the blue trimming potentiometer.

Important notes
• The module is exclusively allowed to be used
and handled by qualified personnel with basic
knowledge in electronics. The selling of the
device and the usage by end users for personal
use is highly prohibited.
• The module has been designed according to
the EMC directive 2014/30/EU. For conformity
with the requirements of this directive during
operation the module has to be installed into
a sufficiently shielded housing and a shielded
cable with a maximum length of 1 meter should
ideally be used. The user of the module is responsible
for the correct installation in his device
and for compliance with the EMC directive.
• Misappropriation, misuse or improper connection
of the module lead to loss of guarantee.
No liability for any personal damage or material
damage resulting out of that will be accepted.

Connection
With the help of the four mounting holes the module
can be assembled to the designated enclosure.
The proper connections of the module can be
found in the shown connection diagram.
To avoid any personal or material damage the
power supply should be turned off over the whole
duration of the assembly and connection process
and connected in the end.

Important:

Due to the risk of short circuits, none
of the speaker outputs is allowed to be connected
to ground!

AMP 2.2

Stereo amplifier with level controls, e.g. for multimedia applications. Suitable for use with small loudspeakers with impedances of 4 to 8 ohms. Robust metal housing with two fixing lugs. Can be connected directly to the line out or headphones socket of a PC audio card, while the input sensitivity is regulated via the level control. Power supply (12 V) is via a mains adapter (not supplied) or the computer's on-board power supply. Short-circuit proof.

Differences between AMP 2.2 and AMP 2.2 LN:

  • Different signal-to-noise ratio
  • Different input sensitivity for full conduction

For mobile audio application (mobile phone, MP3 player etc.) we recommend the AMP 2.2, for non-portable products (CD player, computer) we recommend the AMP 2.2 LN
