Fitted with two high quality full range speakers, two 100 V transformers and two fire-proof ceramic terminals with thermal fuse (fire damage at the speaker does not affect the function of the entire system). Built-in horn speaker with 100 V transformer. Waterproof design. Housing made of black lacquered aluminium, horns made of polypropylene (PP). High IP protection class (IP 67), high sound pressure and good voice reproduction. Ideal for inconspicuous installation due to the very compact dimensions. The potential equalisation connection is by means of an M6 grubscrew on the rear of the housing (maximum fastening torque 2 Nm). The connection is via a four-core flexible cable (0.5 m). 17 cm (6.5") HiFi-ceiling speaker with corrosion free grille, suitable for the installation in suspended ceilings of any material. Equipped with a 2-way coaxial driver. Quick snap-in mounting due to round ceiling cut-out through which the speaker with mounting ring can be installed. A push-terminal block allows a quick and easy connection. A quick-mounting bayonet connection provides an easy installation of the grille. DL 18/2 T can be supplied painted in other RAL colours on request. Speaker cabinet systems for concrete ceilings are available from KAISER, 58579 Schalksmühle, Germany. The KompaX cabinet series is suitable for our ceiling speakers.
